Grilled Lemon Pepper Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt, to taste

  • Directions:

    1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

    2. Rub olive oil onto both sides of each salmon fillet.

    3. Season both sides of each fillet with lemon pepper seasoning and salt.

    4. Place salmon on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

    5. Remove from grill and serve hot.

Baked Teriyaki Salmon.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

    2. In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.

    3. Place salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the salmon.

    4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

    5. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Pan-Seared Salmon with Garlic Butter Sauce

  • Ingredients:

    • 4 salmon fillets

    • Salt and pepper, to taste

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

    • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

    • 3 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

    • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • Directions:

    1. Season both sides of each salmon fillet with salt and pepper.

    2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    3. Add salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

    4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

    5. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

    6. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.

    7. Stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.

    8. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets and serve hot.

Fried Lake Trout

  • Ingredients:

    • 2-3 lake trout fillets

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

    • 1 tsp salt

    • 1/2 tsp black pepper

    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

    • 1/2 tsp paprika

    • 1/2 cup milk

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 cup breadcrumbs

    • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • Directions:

    1. Rinse the lake trout fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

    2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

    3. In another shallow dish, whisk together the milk and eggs.

    4. In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.

    5. Heat 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    6. Dredge each trout fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

    7. Dip the fillet in the egg mixture, then coat it in the breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the fillet to ensure it sticks.

    8. Carefully place the coated fillets in the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

    9. Use a slotted spoon or spatula to remove the fried fillets from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

    10. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy your delicious fried lake trout!
